Bitcoin $100,000 Explosion and Donald Trump Message

I hope everyone had an amazing trading week! A huge congratulations to all the Bitcoin holders and crypto believers, including our very own John Hiltz in the Bear Bull Traders community. Bitcoin made history overnight, surpassing $100,000 and skyrocketing to $103,000 within hours.

Even more exciting, President-elect Trump shared his congratulations on Truth Social, stating, “You’re welcome, and together, we’ll make America great again.” With a pro-crypto president set to take office next year and a Congress signaling support for less regulation in crypto markets, this is truly an unprecedented time for cryptocurrency enthusiasts and traders alike.

While the energy is evident, let’s not forget the importance of risk management. It’s easy to get caught up in the fear of missing out (FOMO)—trust me, I feel it too— but it’s crucial to have the proper knowledge and strategy before jumping into any trade, especially in volatile markets like crypto.

If you’ve missed this move, don’t worry. History tells us there will always be pullbacks and more opportunities to trade these big moves. As I often say, reversion to the mean is as certain as gravity. In my 13 years of trading and 10 years as an educator, I’ve seen countless examples of this fundamental rule play out time and again. Patience and preparation are key.

Right now, I’m writing to you from a beautiful city just outside Medellín called Guatapé, where our Bear Bull Traders community retreat is in full swing. We hiked up its 708 steps today for breathtaking views of the surrounding lakes and countryside. It’s been an incredible experience trading together in the ballroom of our hotel and exploring this unique city.

Tomorrow, our group of 35 traders will head to the coastal gem of Cartagena. This historic city is famous for its walled Old Town, colonial architecture, and stunning beaches. We’re looking forward to exploring Cartagena’s rich culture and enjoying some well-deserved downtime by the sea.
