Shutdown Ending: Market Bounce Trades on $AMD!

I did my morning run today on Wall Street! As a day trader who has dedicated over 10 years to the markets, I can truly feel the energy and inspiration of this iconic financial district. Many of us have experienced life-changing trades thanks to the stock market, and I know there are still endless opportunities waiting for the next rising trader in the BBT family.

We also had an amazing V-shaped recovery in the markets, presenting many profitable day trading setups. In today’s newsletter, I want to share a few A+ trade executions by our BBT traders.

In the opening hour, both Aiman and Duane traded $AMD long. $AMD recovered nicely from last week’s dip, gapped up this morning and held the previous day high.

Duane is one of the most improved traders I’ve seen in 2025. He’s a retired U.S. Air Force veteran with 22 years of service; joined the BBT Community after reading my book “How to day trade for a living”.

Duane was reading the level 2 tape on Market Atlas and managed to capture a nice bullish order flow on $AMD from $241s to $246s.

Aiman also traded $AMD long but his style is more similar to the way I trade: looking for an Opening Range Breakout + huge order stacking on Market Atlas. Aiman is a a medical doctor who has been trading with BBT since 2018. Today he is one of the top mentors at Peak Capital Trading, coaching our upcoming PCT Bootcamp traders.
