Dear Traders,
Fed’s Chair Kevin Warsh just delivered his first FOMC meeting today. FOMC held rates steady, but it was slightly hawkish rather than dovish, and we now see signs of potential rate hikes.

Warsh’s first meeting removed the easing bias, the “dot-plot “shifted toward one 2026 hike, and markets sold off because traders realized cuts are no longer the base case. This was a hawkish interest rate hold, not a green light for risk assets.
In BBT, we usually recommend day traders to sit on hands during FOMC because of the extreme uncertainty. It’s best to wait for the post-FOMC price action to fully develop so that we have better key levels and range to plan our trades in the following day.
