AMD’s Soaring Surge: Trading Success and Whiskey Celebrations
Dear Traders,
I’ve returned from two incredible weeks in Colombia, which has now topped my list of visited countries. What struck me most about Colombia is its people—their vibrant charm, zest for life, happiness, and, most importantly, their gratitude. During my surgery there with one of the world’s best surgeons, something remarkable happened. On the last day, as my surgeon and I laughed and chatted to say goodbye, he thanked me for choosing Colombia and allowing him to perform the surgery. He expressed gratitude for entrusting him with my body and life.
Can you believe it? When was the last time a doctor or surgeon in North America thanked you in such a heartfelt manner? Typically, medical professionals are pressed for time, often lack personal connections with patients, and sometimes come across as indifferent. My experiences in Colombia were refreshingly different.
The people in Colombia exude gratitude, even the servers are thankful for serving you. I felt welcomed and safe everywhere, and the friendships I forged in the past two weeks felt like decades of camaraderie.
There’s something special in South American culture. People are open, eager to get to know you, and happy to share their moments with you. They may not be financially rich, but they are incredibly generous and content.
I plan to move to Medellin in a few years to learn Spanish. After conquering some of the world’s tallest mountains, I think my 40s challenge might be mastering a new language. Spanish has long been on my list of languages I want to learn.
Now, onto trading, which has been amazing. AMD is on fire! The stock has surged over 20% in just 7 days, offering us significant trading opportunities. It nearly hit $140 today.
I’ve successfully traded it twice and have prepared a recap filled with valuable insights and education. Watch my recap, and Peter has promised to celebrate with whiskey when it hits $140!
Last but not least, Mike Baehr is here in the office. He’s not only one of my best friends but also a crucial collaborator in developing top-notch training and education for our traders and investors.
Mike was once my student. He read my book while serving in Afghanistan in 2017, in a dusty bunker. He purchased it during his deployment and joined my program back then. For three years, he consistently learned trading while navigating his final years of retirement. After 23 years, he retired from the US Marines in 2020 as a Sergeant Major, and I knew he was a gem. I quickly recruited him after retirement and invited him to join my companies. He has been incredible.
The camp above is where Mike was stationed, and it’s where he first encountered my book in 2017.
So far, we’ve achieved some remarkable work together. We’ve published two important books on trading psychology and are working on a third. We’ve developed a comprehensive training boot camp for traders at Peak Capital Trading, which is now in its 11th round and boasts an 86% success rate and high mentee satisfaction. Mike is a true asset, and I’m thrilled he’s with us.
At Bear Bull Traders, he has developed an outstanding and comprehensive performance coaching and psychology module, as well as several important courses on Trading Terminal.
I look forward to many more years of collaboration and friendship with him. He’s organized three successful live-person webinars for our traders and much more.
God bless you, my friend.
To your success,
Andrew
