Beijing Vibes, Today´s Webinar, Bootcamp, and TEDx Photos
Hey everyone,
Hope you’re all doing great, right now, I’m in Beijing, it’s my third day here, and I’ve already had some amazing experiences.
Yesterday, I visited the Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City, two of the most iconic landmarks in China.
Tiananmen Square is not just a large public plaza, it holds deep political and historical significance for China. It’s been the site of many important events in the country’s history and is home to the Monument to the People’s Heroes, the Great Hall of the People, and the Mausoleum of Mao Zedong.
The Forbidden City, right next door, is even more mind-blowing. This massive palace complex was the home of emperors for over 500 years, including the last emperor of China, Puyi. Walking through those ancient halls, you really feel the weight of history.
Honestly, I’m super impressed by China every time I visit. Whether it’s big cities like Beijing and Shanghai, or remote regions like Tibet, there’s always something fascinating to discover. The streets are clean, the architecture is incredible, and there are so many amazing (and expensive!) cars. People have been kind and welcoming, although speaking English here can be a little tricky at times.
My hotel internet hasn’t been strong enough for trading, and I’m also struggling with jet lag, by the time the market opens, I’m usually knocked out in bed!
So I’m skipping trading for another night, but I hope to be back at it later this week when I head toward the Great Wall of China and explore the Summer Palace, another historical gem from the Qing dynasty, the last imperial dynasty in Chinese history.
