About This Lesson

This lesson teaches traders how to classify the current trading session based on early price action, volatility, structure, and market behavior. Students will learn how to identify common day types such as trend days, range days, breakout expansion days, gap and go days, and gap and fade days using objective criteria and intraday observations. By the end of the lesson, traders will understand how day type classification helps align strategy selection, trade management, and risk management with the current market environment.
