How to 3X your profits

Today one of our members in chatroom pointed out CRWD as a stock that was getting a lot of buying interest. I decided to dive in and buy the $300 calls expiring on September 27th. I anticipate a nice 50% profit on that trade.

Yesterday, Andrew got a brief phone signal and managed to place orders to sell his SOXL position at $35, $36, $37, and $38. These are good-till-canceled (GTC) orders, and with an average buy price of $27, this could be his highest profit ever—executed at an incredible 18,000 feet (6,000 meters) altitude during his expedition!
For those unfamiliar, SOXL is an aggressive, bullish 3x ETF (Exchange-Traded Fund) that focuses on semiconductor stocks. This means it aims to deliver three times the daily returns of the stocks in the semiconductor sector. If those stocks go up 1% in a day, SOXL should go up 3%. But, it also works the other way—if those stocks drop 1%, SOXL will fall 3%.
Andrew bought SOXL during a pullback a few weeks ago, when prices dipped, and now he’s riding the recovery for potential big gains.

Also today, Andrew is participating in the Puja ceremony, a traditional offering led by Sherpas and mountaineers to ask for safe passage up the mountain. Over the weekend, he’ll begin setting up camps and doing rotation hikes for further acclimatization as he prepares for his summit attempt.
Puja ceremony for hikers, particularly in the Himalayas, is a sacred ritual performed to seek blessings for a safe and successful journey. Led by Buddhist monks or Lamas, the ceremony involves offering items like incense, rice, and flour to appease the mountain deities, with climbers placing their gear before the altar to be blessed.
Through chanting mantras, burning juniper leaves, and hanging colorful prayer flags, the ritual purifies the path ahead, invoking protection, favorable weather, and good fortune. This tradition instills a deep sense of peace and spiritual connection with the mountains, helping hikers overcome the physical and spiritual challenges of their journey.
It is amazing how trading has allowed Andrew to travel the world, climb the mountains, and live the life he dreams of. He does what he loves: traveling, climbing, and trading!
