The overall market was chopping up and down all session. SPY and QQQ couldn’t pick a clear direction, which makes it tough for traders holding out for a “home run.” But it was the perfect environment to scalp.

NVIDIA made history today, breaking all-time highs and becoming the first-ever $4.5 trillion company. Instead of chasing the stock directly, I traded $NVDL, the 2x leveraged $NVDA ETF. I’ve explained many times on our YouTube morning live stream about why NVDL is a more ideal instrument for day traders. jumped on the breakout, scalped the momentum, and locked in a quick $12K profit.

$CRWV was my bread-and-butter setup. It was a 1-minute Opening Range Breakout combined with a bullish engulfing pattern. This stock was added to the BBT premarket watchlist following a very bullish news catalyst: CoreWeave signed a $14 billion deal with Meta. I took the long setup and quickly scaled out, and re-added a small size with my stop loss moved to break-even. Keep in mind that both SPY and QQQ were heavy at the open when I went long on $CRWV.
