Must See All-Time High
Hello Traders,
This is Andrew, back from my climb! I want to take a moment to thank everyone who followed my journey and also covered my trading while I was away. I’m now back trading from Vancouver, and today was an exciting and highly profitable day in the markets—I have to admit, I really missed trading!
We saw Apple trade near an all-time high today. I traded it for the break of an all-time high for a 5-minute Opening Range Breakout. Brian and I also took a long on Tesla, which turned out to be an amazing trade, while Avi did an excellent job trading the call options on Tesla.
Trading companies like Apple at their all-time highs doesn’t happen every day, so I thought it deserves a recap. The key trade was based on the 5-minute Opening Range Breakout strategy.
As you know, this is one of our most researched strategies, with papers published by Carlo Zarattini and Professor Andrea Barbon from Switzerland with a series of research papers in SSRN. When executed well, this strategy can yield impressive alpha returns, which is exactly what we saw today.
