Red Days are Part of the Game

Dear Traders,

This is Brian, writing on behalf of Andrew.

It was a challenging open for trading momentum stocks today, as the price action was quite choppy. I ended the week with a red day, but I managed to execute a solid Tesla options put trade that significantly reduced my losses.

As traders, we must recognize that not every day will be profitable. It’s all part of the journey, and adapting to the market conditions and staying in the game are the keys to long-term success.

Even though it was a red day for me, I feel great knowing that as a community, we have the tools and educational materials to help new traders minimize these red days. Taking the psychology lessons in the BBT Education Center and learning how to mentally respond when you’re on the wrong side of a trade helps beyond what many new investors realize.

Also, worrying about losing all their savings is incredibly stressful for many new traders. Trading is a high-performance activity, and you want to minimize your stress and pressure as much as possible.

Andrew at Tingri with Mingma Gyalje Sherpa, the man behind the first winter ascent of K2, the second-highest mountain on Earth, after Mount Everest, an achievement that changed mountaineering history forever.

After some intense days at Cho Oyu’s Advanced Base Camp (ABC), Andrew has decided to head down to the village of Tingri at 4,400 meters for some much-needed rest.

The weather conditions up in the mountains have been challenging, with heavy snowfalls making it difficult to continue the climb. Rather than pushing through unsafe conditions, Andrew is wisely waiting it out in Tingri until the weather improves, giving him a chance to recover and prepare for the next leg of his journey.

Stay tuned for updates as the conditions shift and the team gets ready to push higher.

See you in the chatroom,

Brian
