We’re just under three weeks away from our TEDx event and Vancouver Live Trading Summit, and I couldn’t be more excited!

Darren will be speaking about the power of curiosity—how embracing curiosity fuels success by driving innovation, adaptability, and peak performance. He’ll explore how challenging routines, embracing discomfort, and unlocking hidden potential can lead to breakthroughs in both business and trading.
I personally believe that curiosity is one of the most important traits of successful people. Every morning, I wake up not just to trade for money, but because I’m curious about the markets—how patterns form, how price action unfolds, and how we can find opportunities in uncertainty.
Jeff Bezos once said in an interview that curiosity fuels his drive—he wakes up every day asking, “How can we build this better? How can we innovate to solve a problem?” I recently had a conversation with a healthcare executive in Canada who said something similar—his curiosity led him to build solutions for inefficiencies in the healthcare system, helping doctors and clinics optimize their time and resources.
If you’re only trading for money, it’s a completely different mindset from trading because you’re fascinated by how the markets move. That’s why I’m looking forward to Professor Darren Dahl’s talk—I think it’ll be incredibly valuable for all of us.
