The Fastest Trade War in History
Dear Traders,
The shortest trade war in history just ended between the world’s largest economy and its neighbors. Canada and Mexico quickly conceded, agreeing to enhance border security and curb illegal immigration into the U.S. The currency market reacted wildly, with the Canadian dollar and Mexican peso experiencing significant intraday swings. Meanwhile, earnings season continues to drive market sentiment as investors seek a catalyst for further market gains.
Today’s PLTR earnings release provided an excellent trading opportunity for many in our community. The company reported fourth-quarter adjusted earnings per share of $0.14 on $828 million in revenue, surpassing expectations of $0.11 and $776 million. I traded PLTR live on YouTube with many of our traders, securing a sizable profit in my account. Even small account traders, like Aiman, capitalized on this move, making thousands of dollars.
PLTR was incredibly easy to trade, and I even joked that I would shoot myself if our $50,000 funded training account lost money on it. For the first 45 minutes, it was nearly impossible to lose on this stock!
