War is Nasty But Our Trading is Better than Ever

Happy International Women’s Day to all of the amazing BBTLadies who are part of our community. Thank you for trading with us.

I managed to trade this week, and my recap on the exceptional reversal I did on TQQQ from Buenos Aires can be seen here. I had one of the most profitable days of my trading career. I love South America!

The markets are volatile and we are in complete risk-off mode. The war in Europe, along with the geopolitical complexity of oil and energy, have led investors to be in a complete stand-off mode. Nickel, and energy in general, are soaring and everyone is uncertain about what will come next. War is nasty. I was born in the middle of one of the longest wars of the 20th century, the 8-year Iran-Iraq conflict. I grew up in Tehran during the war, and my early childhood memories include hiding in shelters, listening to the horrible noise of sirens, and going out to look at downed fighter jets and unexploded cruise missiles in Iran’s capital (which was my home at the time). I hope this war ends very soon. My thoughts and prayers are with the people affected.

Although I missed trading last week, I did get to spend the week in the heart of Patagonia, and specifically in one of the most beautiful places on the planet, El Chaltén. I climbed a few peaks and did quite a lot of running. I hope you will get a chance one day to visit Patagonia yourself, both the Chile and Argentina sides.

This week we are offering several important webinars that I know will assist you in developing your trading skills. Tonight, at 8pm ET, Mike will discuss how to determine when to move your stop to break-even. Mike’s Tuesday Strategy webinar will teach you 4 different methodologies that you can use to confidently make this determination and successfully manage your trades from entry to exit.

For Wednesday Psychology, Créde will continue her Mental Edge series with tonight’s webinar focusing on how best to unearth some of the most common mind traps that result in losing trades. Créde will also provide practical tips for cultivating a mindset that will support you in becoming more consistently profitable. Please note that this webinar begins at a special time of 5pm ET.

For Thursday Mentorship, I will be hosting my session at 11am ET, John will be leading his Q&A for new traders at 2pm ET, Ed is holding his mentorship session at 4:30pm ET (with 30 minutes of after-hours trading commencing at 4pm ET), and Thor is up at 8pm ET. Lastly, for Friday Crypto, Jarad will present his weekly markets and crypto mentorship session starting at 11am ET.

Ardi and I will be back to Vancouver on Wednesday after we finish up some meetings we have scheduled with traders and partners.
