Wrapping Up in Colombia

Dear Traders,

Today, our incredible journey through Colombia has come to an end. We wrapped up the trip in Leticia, a fascinating town right at the crossroads of Colombia, Brazil, and Peru, in the heart of the Amazon rainforest. Leticia is like no other place I’ve ever been—its vibrant energy and stunning natural beauty make it a truly unique destination.

We spent the last few days exploring the incredible biodiversity of the Amazon, connecting with indigenous communities, and experiencing the magic of the rainforest. I’ll share some photos from the trip in this newsletter so you can get a glimpse of what made this experience so special.

Right now, I’m writing to you from Bogotá’s airport, where I’m getting ready to fly to Costa Rica, my next destination. Reflecting on this trip, I’m reminded once again of the power of our community. It’s been amazing to spend time with traders from all over the world, each of us bringing different perspectives, experiences, and stories to the table. This retreat has been about more than just trading—it’s been about connection, growth, and creating memories that will last a lifetime.

During this trip in Colombia, I’ve been reminded just how much energy Paras brings to everything he does. For those of you who don’t know him, Paras has been one of our long-time mentors at BBT, and his positivity and enthusiasm are truly contagious.

One moment that really stood out was during our boat ride on the beautiful lake in Guatapé. What started as a calm and relaxing cruise quickly turned into a full-blown dance party—all thanks to Paras! He got everyone dancing, laughing, and having the best time. It’s moments like these that remind me how much energy he brings, not just to trading, but to life.

What’s incredible is how this personality shines in his trading style. Paras is a momentum trader, and his approach is just as dynamic as he is—focused, energetic, and always ready to jump on the next opportunity.

I truly believe that every trader develops a style that reflects their personality. Paras is a perfect example of this, using his keen eye and quick thinking to trade in a way that works for him.
