Strategy 16: ABCD Continuation Strategy
Level: Beginner
Experienced Instructor
About This Lesson
The ABCD setup is a momentum strategy that focuses on entering after a pullback following an initial breakout or breakdown, aiming to catch the second leg of the move. Key to success is trading with elevated volume and carefully reading price action to identify imbalances between buyers and sellers across the three phases: A-B (breakout/breakdown), B-C (pullback), and C-D (follow-up leg).
