Developing a Successful Futures Trading Strategy for Day Trading

Dear Traders,

I’m writing this newsletter from South America, sitting in the domestic airport of Santiago de Chile, the capital of one of my favorite countries in the world. Soon, I’ll be flying to the Copiapó region in northern Chile, home to the breathtaking Atacama Desert. Did you know that Copiapó is famous for the 2010 mine rescue, where 33 miners were trapped underground for 69 days before being safely rescued? It’s also known for its stunning desert landscapes, rich mining history, and the driest non-polar desert in the world—the Atacama.

This region is also home to one of the highest volcanoes on Earth, Ojos del Salado. Standing at 6,893 meters (22,615 feet), it is the highest active volcano in the world and the second-highest peak in South America, just after Aconcagua in Argentina (6,961 meters / 22,838 feet). It’s a challenging climb, not just because of its altitude but also due to the harsh desert conditions and extreme winds.

I plan to attempt a rapid ascent of Ojos, pushing my body to the limits once again. This climb will help me prepare for two major expeditions this year:

• Gasherbrum II (G2) in the Karakoram, Pakistan – Standing at 8,035 meters (26,362 feet), it is the 13th highest mountain in the world, located near K2.
• Manaslu in the Himalayas, Nepal – The 8th highest peak in the world, reaching 8,163 meters (26,781 feet).

To ensure I stay in peak physical condition, I plan to climb as much as possible before these expeditions. I also started a 24-hour fast before my flight, and I’m still going strong. I feel amazing—my mind is sharper, and I don’t feel hungry at all!

While I’m away, Thor will be trading live for the community alongside Brian Pezim.
